1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ClearCut.tools ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ClearCut.tools provides free online business calculators and tools intended to help freelancers and small business owners with financial estimates and planning. Some features require creating an account (Pro and Business plans).
3. No Financial or Legal Advice
All results produced by the Service are estimates only and are provided for informational purposes. Nothing on ClearCut.tools constitutes financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial or business decisions based on any calculation.
Tax rates and thresholds used in our calculators are based on publicly available official sources but may not reflect the most recent changes. Verify all figures with HMRC or your accountant before filing.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Circumvent any usage limits or access controls
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Pro and Business plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard, and access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation results will be accurate for your specific circumstances.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearCut.tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any financial loss resulting from reliance on calculator outputs.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
